ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore effect of competitive teaching on clinical skill teaching of knee puncture and improve students' clinical skills. Methods:Students participated knee puncture course in September 2020 were randomly divided into experimental group (competitive teaching group) and control group (traditional teaching group). One month after the class, 90 students were randomly selected to participate knee puncture examination, including 39 in experimental group and 51 in control group, and their examination results were recorded and analyzed. The statistical analysis was conducted by t test and chi-square test. Results:The mean scores in experimental group were (84.18±7.21) points, which were statistically higher than these in the control group (80.17±10.51) points, P=0.044. On the other hand, there was no statistical difference between experimental and control group in the aspect of score distribution in each score section. Conclusion:Competitive teaching is beneficial for the improvement of students' overall grades and clinical skills.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the gene homology of intestinal colonized and infectious bacteria in ICU patients to provide the epidemiological and molecular biological basis for formulating the control measures of multi resistant bacterial hospital infection. Methods The multi-drug resistant colonized bacteria isolated from the anal swabs and the same multi-drug resistant bacteria isola-ted from the clinical samples in the same patients were matched. The Diversilab automatic repetitive extragenic palindromic(REP)-PCR typing system was adopted to analyze the gene homology of multi-drug resistant colonized bacteria and infectious bacteria in the intestinal tract. Results 4 pairs of multi-drug resistant colonized bacteria and the same multi-drug resistant bacteria isolated from the clinical samples on admission in the same patients were selected and performed the homology detection,2 pairs had the ho-mology and 2 pairs had no homology;4 pairs of multi-drug resistant colonized bacteria and the same multi-drug resistant bacteria isolated from the clinical samples in the patients with hospital infection were performed the homology detection,4 pairs all showed the homology. Conclusion The multi-drug resistant colonized bacteria and the infectious bacteria in ICU patients have the homolo-gy.The multi-drug resistant colonized bacteria can cause the occurrence of hospital infection,so their management should be strengthened in clinic.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of ultrasonography of fetal congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation of the lung (CCAM), and to predict the prognosis according to ultrasonographic findings. Methods The chest of 19 fetus with CCAM was multi-sectionally scanned with two-dimensional ultrasonography. The position, appearance and size of mass were observed, and complications were continuously followed. Results CCAM was pathologically confirmed in 13 fetus after induced abortion. One neonatal died, while CCAM in other 5 fetus disappeared before 36 weeks. The mass of typeⅠCCAM became smaller and smaller, and eventually disappeared. The echo-free spaces in typeⅡbecame smaller and fewer, and the strong echo weakened to the same level as normal lung. For type Ⅲ, the echo of solid mass weakened to the same level as normal lung, or transformed to typeⅡ gradually, and finally recovered to normal echo of lung as the gestational age increased. During follow up, there were 10 fetus (10/19, 52.63%) that lung adenoma cyst increased with the gestational age increased, and the heart, mediastinal shifted, pleural effusion, and (or) fetal edema were observed. Conclusion Ultrasound examination is a reliable method for the diagnosis of CCAM, and enable to predict the prognosis of the affected fetuses. If heart and mediustinum displacement, pleural effusion, hydrops fetal or other abnormalities exist, it's necessary to terminate the pregnancy.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the relationship between fetal heart size and gestational weeks (GW). Methods The size of left atrium (LA), right atrium (RA), left ventricle (LV), right ventricle (RV), aorta (AO), pulmonary artery (PA), foramen ovale (FO), heart area (HA), thoracic area (TA), heart circumference (HC) and thoracic circumference (TC) were measured for 512 fetal hearts at 14-39 GW. The relationship between GW and the measurement was evaluated. Results The size of fetal heart chambers, AO, PA and ventricular septum (IVS) increased with the development of GW. The PA/AO, LA/RA, LV/RV, HC/TC and HA/TA were stable compared with different GW. Conclusion Fetal heart chambers increase with the development of GW. HA is correlated well with GW.
